Long-running Florida-based death metallers MONSTROSITY have announced their lineup for the upcoming "Triumph in Black" European tour, which is scheduled to kick off late March. Replacing guitarist Tony Norman (currently in MORBID ANGEL/TERRORIZER) and vocalist Jason Avery are Mark English and Brian Werner, respectively. The band is rounded out by mainman/founding member Lee Harrison on drums, guitarist Sam Molina and bassist Mike Poggione.

Floridian death metallers DEICIDE have unveiled the title of their latest album. Entitled "The Stench of Redemption", the record will be the first DEICIDE album to feature new guitarists Jack Owen (formerly of CANNIBAL CORPSE) and Ralph Santolla (ex-DEATH, ICED EARTH), who have been touring with the band since the departure of the Hoffman brothers in 2005.

Several Romanian metal veterans, united under the name of M.S., recently recorded "Behind the Stone", a song in the memory of PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. The composition, riffing and guitar solo were all conceived in the spirit of Dimebag's craft. After having already reissued MASSACRA's "Final Holocaust" (1991) and "Enjoy the Violence" (1991) albums, Rusty Diamond/Shark Records have announced plans to re-release the band's third full-length album, "Signs of the Decline" (1992), on January 30. Just like the previous reissues, it will once again contain bonus material, this time six tracks off MASSACRA's fourth album, "Sick", resulting in an approximate playing time of 71 minutes.

Germany's Power Metal band Blind Guardian and their drummer have announced that from now they will go separate ways. After walking along the same musical paths for about 20 years and after several long, open and honest discussions between the four band members, all band members (including Thomen) came to the same conclusion that it is now best for Thomen to leave the band.

Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy has finished recording vocal tracks for new album "Doomsday Machine", which is set for a July 25 release in Europe & July 26 in North America. As Angela said in her report from studio, vocals on album will go from extremely high screams to very low growls. On new album Arch Enemy works with producer Rickard Bengtsson. In the mean time, band also re-signed the contract with label Century Media Records.
