Michael Tierney (a.k.a. Jaymz Lennfield) of METALLICA/BEATLES cover band BEATALLICA recently spoke to AdrenalinFanzine.com about receiving help from METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich in their dispute with the Sony Corporation over BEATALLICA's "unlawful use" of the group's compositions "without authorization or license."

British Heavy Metal Legends Iron Maiden are the confirmed co-headliners with Black Sabbath on this year's installment of Ozzfest. Iron Maiden will be joined by Anthrax's Among The Living lineup (featuring vocalist Joey Belladonna, guitarist Dan Spitz and bassist Frank Bello), with many more main stage and second stage bands to be announced soon.

Blind Guardian part ways whith drummer

Germany's Power Metal band Blind Guardian and their drummer have announced that from now they will go separate ways. After walking along the same musical paths for about 20 years and after several long, open and honest discussions between the four band members, all band members (including Thomen) came to the same conclusion that it is now best for Thomen to leave the band.

Arch Enemy - Complete vocal tracks for new album

Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy has finished recording vocal tracks for new album "Doomsday Machine", which is set for a July 25 release in Europe & July 26 in North America. As Angela said in her report from studio, vocals on album will go from extremely high screams to very low growls. On new album Arch Enemy works with producer Rickard Bengtsson. In the mean time, band also re-signed the contract with label Century Media Records.
